Born over 50 years ago as branch of a spinning mill of 1892, in 1997 Turati Idrofilo has decided to continue manufacturing independently developing, beside the production of traditional carded cotton, the new technology of 100% hydro entangled cotton wool (spunlace/nonwoven), so to obtain a cotton tape extremely resistant, soft, absorbent and most of all lint free, a characteristic which is particularly appreciated by both cosmetic and medical sectors.
Cotton is supplied SEMI-FINISHED IN TAPE, mainly to manufacturers of make-up removal cotton pads and pleated cotton, or PACKAGED for distributors, retailers, pharmacies, medical institutions, etc.
From 2006 all our products are also available in 100% organic cotton GOTS certified.
We only manufacture the finest and higher cotton quality, complies with quality standards requested by European Pharmacopoeia in force.
We care the production form the raw material to the finished product, with a total quality control on the whole manufacturing process.
Thanks to our modern manufacturing plants, our know-how and our manufacturing system - unique in the world - which guarantee us an excellent quality, we have reached an export of over 80% very quickly.
